Introduction

Life has been pretty perfect for me really. There have been ups, downs, round-abouts, speed humps, hills and valleys, but when you stand back and look at the view from a distance I consider myself hugely privileged.  Why? Because I consider each a teaching and something from which I have learned from so as to become a better person.  Not only this, I consider each teaching as an opportunity to share what I have learned with my community around me.  As George Dawson states in his autobiography Life is so Good, ‘Life is so good, and it just keeps getting better’.  What a powerful quote from someone who was illiterate till the age of 100 but decided to return to kindergarten to learn to read and write, releasing his own autobiography at the age of 103!
